It may be worth getting a single copy between your friends to play together if you find it cheap. If multiple people have the game, one of those people will not be using their copy and will have to connect through download play anyway. And when I say single copy I mean literally one copy. I would say the best thing about the game is that you play multiplayer through download play with only a single copy. A couple of them are extremely luck based and not very fun but some were a little better. I haven't played it in awhile so I can't give an accurate review right now but it remember there being multiple maps that were all played differently. It wasn't really glossed over, when the game came out it seemed that the consensus was that it isn't very good.
